Ellie Tally
LMFT
Ellie is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who supports children, teens, couples, and families as they navigate life’s transitions. She values meeting clients exactly where they are and walking alongside them as they pursue meaningful change. Her space welcomes individuals, couples, or families seeking support— through both the joys and challenges of daily life.
Ellie deeply values a collaborative, team-based approach. From a systemic lens, she strives to partner with parents and families, blending perspectives to support the whole child and the whole family system—not just one part of it.
Her therapeutic work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. These approaches help her explore the relationship one has with themselves and with others, honoring both individual identity and relational dynamics. Whether she’s meeting with a child trying to make sense of their world, a parent feeling overwhelmed, or a couple adjusting to a new season, Ellie’s goal is to create a space that feels safe, grounded, and empowering.
Her approach is both neuroaffirming and developmentally supportive as she helps families, individuals, and couples strengthen connection, build trust, and discover tools that help them thrive—both in everyday moments and during times of transition.
Ellie is currently in the process of attaining the highest level of licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. During this time, she is under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Habben LCMFT. This allows Ellie to provide a high level of care to all of her clients.
Ellie is currently accepting new clients including children, families and couples. She will soon be in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City and Aetna. She sees clients at our Overland Park Office.
